I can attest to that. Been NED (uterine cancer) for 9 years this past September 2025. Got a cough this past October, long story short, it has found me again, looks like metastatic lung cancer. Will consult on Monday before New Years with doc from MSK. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the future doesn’t look good. I would be ok with it if not for my husband of 50+ years having PD, I worry about his care. Who knew our retirement dreams would not be complete. We did make some travel memories but wanted more. Moral of the story, tomorrow is just a mirage.

I'm so sorry. 🙁 You're right that we never know what tomorrow might bring. We have to live the best we can while we can.
