💡 Set Goals That Give You Hope This Year (Issue 168)
How to feel more in control when the world feels out of control
What do you want to achieve in your personal life this year?
Today, I’m asking my career coaching and business coaching clients to brainstorm their goals for 2026. I think it’s a great time to ask you what you want for your life this year, too.
On the one hand, many of us in America are just trying to survive the chaos and uncertainty of what it’s like to live here now. However, a life without goals can feel a bit hopeless.
Personally, I know it feels pretty damn good to set goals that remind me that at least I’m in control of some aspects of my life. I can’t change the political situation or fix the struggling economy. But I can work on myself and my immediate environment.
For example:
Investing in my relationships.
Publishing my book.
Building my community.
Working out every day.
Making time to be in nature.
I want you to create a list of personal goals that give you hope, help you feel more in control, and continue to improve your life, even in small ways. We need all of that!
