💡 Life Tip - All In or Nothing (Issue #32)
Kick half-assed people and projects out of your life
“If you’re not saying ‘HELL YEAH!’ about something, say no.”
— Derek Sivers
You should apply this rule to projects, opportunities, and people in your life. I’m sorry, but life is too short to give your precious time and life energy to something you don’t feel “all in” about—or someone who isn’t “all in” on you.
Don’t accept a job offer if it doesn’t feel like a “Hell yeah!”
Don’t waste time on a project that doesn’t feel like a “Hell yeah!”
Don’t start a new business that doesn’t feel like a “Hell yeah!”
Don’t commit to someone who doesn’t feel like a “Hell yeah!” or doesn’t feel “Hell yeah!” about you.
Keep looking until you find the thing that lights you up. Keep looking until you find a partner who lights up about you, and you reciprocate that feeling for them.
I know someone who was in a relationship with a person who could not commit. They kept going back and forth and back and forth.
It was emotionally draining. It also damages your self-confidence.
If someone won’t go all in on you, you go all out on them. You deserve a partner who adores you and can’t imagine life without you.
No half-assed commitments.
No lukewarm proclamations of so-so love.
There are billions of people on this planet. There is someone—multiple someones—who would be thrilled to spend their life with you.
You don’t need to settle.
You are worthy of passion.
You are worthy of love.
You are worthy of adoration.
You are worthy of commitment.
You deserve a great love.
You deserve a great career.
You deserve a great life!
Find your “Hell yeah!” people, projects, and opportunities. Never settle for less.
